Jennifer LaCava is a fine artist, photographer and art teacher who was brought up in Oyster Bay, New York. She now resides close by in Bayville with her husband Greg and two children, Caroline and James. In 2011, she received her BFA in Visual Art Education from New York Institute of Technology and was honored with the Dean's Award for Excellence. Jennifer has instructed students in a variety of courses including darkroom photography, digital photography, ceramics, and studio art. She graduated summa cum laude from Long Island University in May 2015 with her Masters in Art and currently provides private and group lessons in her home studio. Jennifer continues to explore possibilities in art education while satisfying her vast curiosities as an artist and photographer.
